Hi, I’m Dannie!

My name is Danielle Murdock, but you can call me Dannie.

Photography has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I began in photojournalism at the University of North Texas, photographing stories for the NT Daily, and since then my camera has followed me through more chapters than I could have imagined—from concert venues and community events to restaurants, family celebrations, studios, and places far from home.

Over the years, I’ve photographed musicians, actors, athletes, families, business owners, food, products, events, and everyday life. My work has found its way into newspapers, websites, CD covers, promotional materials, and people’s homes. One of my favorite parts of this journey has been seeing what happens to the photographs after I take them—watching them help someone market what they’ve created, tell an important story, or hold onto a moment they never want to forget.

Today, I photograph food, brands, events, people, and places, but the heart behind my work hasn’t changed. I want your customers to see your food and immediately want a bite. I want the personality behind your brand to come through. I want you to look at your photographs and remember exactly what that chapter of your life felt like.

I truly love photography. I love what photographs can become, where they can travel, and the stories they can continue telling long after the moment has passed. That care is part of every project I take on.

I’m also a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA). My membership reflects my commitment to continuing my education and treating photography not only as an art I love, but as a profession I take seriously.

​

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually writing, making music, planning my next creative project, trying something delicious, or dreaming about where I want to travel next. Creativity touches just about every part of my life, and photography is how I get to share some of that world with you.
