B2K Is Back—And So Am I: A High School Fan’s Full-Circle Moment

My millennial heart is bursting right now because the B2K boys are officially back—with plans for new music and a 2026 tour, joined by none other than Mr. 106 & Park himself, Bow Wow.

Concerts have always been my happy place. I was part of the full-blown early-2000s pandemonium, screaming my head off at the B2K & Bow Wow Scream 2 Tour like my entire LIFE depended on it. Honestly? That energy never left—only the camera got better.

Long before DannieM Photography existed, I was a hustling college student running a brand under the name CMI Productions. I stayed in every press pit that 97.9 The Beat in Dallas, TX would approve me for—camera in hand, adrenaline pumping, living my best creative life.

I was in the press pit at the 2009 Hip Hop for HIV Concert in Dallas, TX, where Omarion and Marques Houston both headlined. Those years capturing concerts weren’t just fun—they were formative. They shaped how I see music, movement, energy, and storytelling through a lens.

I would love nothing more than to step back into that world next year—starting with this tour. I love that B2K is reclaiming and rebuilding their musical legacy, and photographing that evolution would be both an honor and a whole lot of fun.

But this moment isn’t just about nostalgia.

It’s about timing.

I’m in a season of reinvention—growing DannieM Photography, traveling more, documenting real life, and stepping boldly into my voice as an artist. And B2K stepping into their next era at the same time feels like the perfect opportunity to combine two of my favorite things: music and storytelling.

2026 is shaping up to be a creative explosion, and their comeback is a reminder that you can always reboot, rebuild, and return with something fresh. That’s the exact energy I’m carrying into the new year.

Capturing this tour with my camera would be the ultimate full-circle moment. From a meet & greet at 17, to shooting the 2009 press pit for 97.9 The Beat, to 2026 with the whole group reunited—this feels like a moment meant to be documented.

The second those tour dates drop, my calendar is cleared. And you already know my camera is coming with me.
